Upload FAQs - How do I
delete old files from my web space? |
Instructions for
removing files vary depending on whether you are using Front
Page or FTP. If you are using Front Page, it is
important that you remove the files using Front Page as using
FTP on a Front Page site can corrupt the extensions that allow
Front Page to operate.
Be VERY careful when removing files
from your site. ONLY remove files that you are sure you
put in the space. There are files put into your site
directory by the server to allow your site to function.
Deleting any of the server created files will cause your site
to stop functioning and may require the site to be totally
deleted and reinstalled to correct.
